It’s All In The Genes. Or Is That JEANS?

I know for myself, personally, and for my clients, jeans are one of the hardest items to purchase. They need to fit just right, while being comfortable and all together flattering.

I have fantastic news! In my recent (and tireless) quest to find the perfect pair of jeans for a client, I stumbled across a line called Genetic Denim. I was so impressed with everything I read and heard about this line, I had to order myself a pair to find out what all the jean-buzz was really about.

My first pair arrived and all I can say is, wow, wow, WOW! It’s no wonder these jeans have become a staple item for the following celebrity fashion icons: Amanda Seyfried, Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Barry, Bar Refaili, Zoe Saldana and Cameron Diaz (just to name a few).

Launched in 2006, Los Angeles based Genetic Denim is based on enduring elements of personal style: fit, fabrication and individuality. Creative Director Ali Fatourechi approaches denim with the mindset that our points of differentiation should be acknowledged and celebrated, resulting in a collection that caters to a range of women’s denim needs.

The core of the brand is driven towards delivering product that resonates with the denim customer, while reflecting a fashion forward perspective. Genetic Denim creates unexpected shapes and silhouettes, using the familiar fabric for every element of the ensemble for the present and future.

Genetic Denim is available in over 800 specialty stores and luxury retailers worldwide, including Barneys New York, Nordstrom, Fred Segal and Ron Herman in the United States, Holt Renfrew and TNT in Canada, Harvey Nichols in London and Hong Kong, Montaigne Market in Paris and Podium in Moscow, among other countries and doors.
